Hold biopsy sample in place during processing. Perforations
allow adequate fluid infiltration. The foam is used to
trap a small (needle biopsy) sample of tissue, preventing
it from being washed out of the cassette during processing.
Pads are perforated and permeable to allow sufficient fluid
transfer for infiltration. The unique surfaces of the pads
are textured to hold the sample in place during agitation.
