This basic software package utilizes an easy-to-use interface to simplify the labeling process. Included with every SHUR/Mark® instrument we ship, this software package includes everything you need to get started quickly. The Advanced feature set includes:

• A graphical interface which allows you to visualize what you are about to print before you print it
• Drag and drop field placement
• Automatic incrementation of counting fields such as accession and block numbers
• Fixed field settings which automatically print repetitive information such as year code, institution's name, or physician's name on every cassette or slide
• Advanced data management systems which include a print queue, a print history, and an error log with time and date stamps
• A hopper management system allows colors to be set to specific hoppers and printed accordingly

This optional software package is an add-on that utilizes all the features of the Advanced version and provides the following additional features:

• File import and export capabilities
• LIS connection features
• Enhanced record keeping features such as print counter reports

The Super Software works in conjunction with the Advanced Software by providing imported field data to the Advanced software for printing through an device. This option allows an efficient and flexible LIS interface to be easily built.

This optional software package is an add-on that utilizes all the features of the Advanced version and provides the following additional feature:

• A user definable assortment of cassette and slide formats can be printed based on an institution's protocol for specific types of surgical specimens.

The Protocol Software works in conjunction with the Advanced Software by providing actual pre-programmed field data to the Advanced Software for printing. The user selects a specific protocol and all the appropriate cassettes and/or slides will be automatically printed.
